Attorney Eric L. Mayer is an Indiana native, having been born in Grant County. Mr. Mayer has 27 years of experience in the practice of law, all in Indiana. Attorney Mayer's office is located in the heart of downtown Indianapolis in the 28-story First Indiana Plaza, with a suite of offices on the 20th floor.

Attorney Mayer is licensed to practice law in all 92 Indiana counties as well as before the Indiana Court of Appeals and the Indiana Supreme Court. He is also licensed to practice before the United Stated District Court for the Southern District of Indiana.

Mr. Mayer's educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science, with a minor in history, from the University of South Florida, where Mayer was cited for superior academic achievement. Mr. Mayer earned his Doctor of Jurisprudence (J.D.) degree at the University of Tennessee College of Law. Doctor of Jurisprudence is the formal term for law degree.

Mr. Mayer has been active in community affairs, having served on the board of directors of Citizens Action Coalition of Indiana and as president of the Hoosier Environmental Council, Indiana's largest environmental organization.
